Study Visit - Comparative Analysis of Financial Management Practices

The study visit at the University of Genova in Italy from was held from 12th to 15th April 2011 with an objective to introduce and exchange good practices of financial management in the project European partners at both national and institutional levels.

After the welcome speech by Prof. Michele Marsonet, the Vice Rector for International Relations of the host university, he shared the Italian governance system in HEIs together with Prof. Andrea Mignone, former member of USG Administration Board and Mr. Angelo Musaio, Head of Support Service for International Strategies.

A series of presentations on Austrian, German and Italian financial managements in HEIs as well as effective fundraising strategic plans were also discussed with the participants who are the key staff in the finance department at their own institution.
