Supra-Regional Conference: Financial management in institutions of higher education: Challenges and Trends
The first Supra-regional conference under the project was organised and hosted by the Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (Jordan) on 18th October 2012. The event brought together speakers from universities, research institutes and government and private sector in Europe and the Arab Region.
After the opening speech by the host university, parallel sessions were taken place to discuss various topics on financial management of HEIs. It provides a forum for exploring innovative solutions that will allow institutions to continue offering the high quality higher education upon which future economic growth depends – Please find the Agenda & list of participants below.
The importance of the conference attracted ROYA TV to cover the event and interviewed both Jordanian partners and the project manager.
